Functional fitness is all about movement, correct everyday natural movements. It isn’t balancing on bosu balls with one eye shut trying to touch your nose with your finger and other wacky movements that we have no use for.
Here at CFS we use bodyweight exercises, sandbags, kettlebells, tyres, sledgehammers and many other old school training techniques. No barbells, no weightlifting in these sessions. We believe that in order to live a healthy life you need to be able to use your body usefully and correctly to live a pain and injury free life.
We aim to get you in great shape and also do it with a smile on your face, we don’t sugar coat anything, it is tough but very rewarding and great fun. Forget all the new fitness fads, this is a no nonsense approach that works.
