CFS Chipper 05/04/12
Early post for tomorrows chipper to get you all excited.
Remember everyone, there is no longer open gym on Thursdays. Chipper sessions are 5.30, 6.30 and 7.30pm. Please make sure you arrive on time as there will be group warm ups to prepare for the workout. Also be great if everyone didn’t all turn up at 5.30, spread it out a little:)
This week we have a welcome return of ’50 Cent’
Warm up/dynamic stretch
In pairs
10 rounds of 50 Cent each (sharing a bar, 1 rep each at a time)
400m run
10 rounds of 50 Cent
200m plate carry 20/10
10 rounds of 50 Cent
100m sprint
10 rounds of 50 Cent
200m KB carry
10 rounds of 50 Cent
400m run
*1 rep of 50 Cent = squat clean, lunge left, lunge right, push press
** Rx weights are 50/35
For those who think a workout like this is beyond them remember all movements can be scaled and reps reduced. The best thing about workouts like this is pushing beyond what you believe your capabilities to be. There is no better feeling than completing a long hard workout especially as a team so please don’t avoid these sessions through fear or lack of confidence, have self belief and you will come out the other end a stronger person.
